In the fall Regina lives and breathes football, but wait until November, this city will be up to it’s armpits in hockey players. You showed quite a list of scheduled football games there Rod, but tell me, how many hockey teams are there in Regina??? Sure there’s a pro football team here, but c’mon, come winter Regina’s still a hockey town. Always will be. It just so happens that hockey starts its season during the height of the CFL season. You aren’t really doing Brent any favours by painting him as a football hater either, that schtick’s gotta stop, people might like him more if he jumped onto the band wagon so to speak.
Even if you think that this is a football city, why should we find fault in that? The Riders are our one and only pro franchise in the province should we toss them out so that the Pats can get 700 more buts in the seats?????? Sheeesh. Do you think Milwaukee Admiral fans in Wisconsin are fed up with the State’s only pro football team? Why should they be??? Why should we be???
