Ironic, isn’t it. The two most prolific passers in pro football history are both men of colour. What makes it even more strange is the fact that both played in the CFL, and even more bizarre is the fact that both played in Edmonton, and won cups while there. In 1995 he was sent to the expansion Memphis Maddogs until they folded then joined the BC lions until 2001. In 2002 Allen joined Toronto after BC signed highly touted free agent Dave Dickenson, where he still plays. In all those years Allen has ducked and weaved his way into the pro football record books, third in rushing behind only Mike Pringle and George Reed. He now holds the pro football passing record, previously held by former Eskimo, Warren Moon. This football fan finds it just a little Ironic that the Eskimos were able to bring into pro football the tw
