Can the Rider defense pull of the near impossible and stop the powerful Calgary defense? If last week's showing is any indication, I say yes! Anthony Calvillo is a far superior quarterback to Henry Burris, he makes fewer mistakes and makes hi reads much faster than his Calgary counterpart. Calgary's running game will be the difference this weak, but if the Riders can put big numbers on the board early, the Stamps will be forced to go to the air, which could play right into the hands of the Riders. If the Riders score first, I believe that the have a real good chance of running away with the game. If Burris is allowed to have time to make his reads, it will be a long day for the Rider defensive backfield. With the performance of the Rider defensive front four, and secondary for that matter, I don't expect Burris to have much time to flex his aerial muscle. Look for a wide open Rider win in this one.
